I love my Jawa 42

Everybody would have their own story to tell about their old Jawa bikes. Might be theirs or their fathers.

Today I completed 4 months of my Jawa 42 in Surat, Gujarat, India. It had a rusting issue, I shared the information with the dealer as well as had sent a mail to the company. But things didn’t go well as the dealer thought I was making a complaint against them.

Never mind. I got my bike serviced a few times and the ride quality improved a lot.

The first day I told my father that I was going to buy Jawa, he started having flashbacks to his golden days of biking with the Jawa and Yezdi bikes India.

One thing is you won’t find many Jawa bikes on the road. My bike was always the odd one out therefore I was stopped many times by young and old. And obviously, everybody wants to know the price.

Youngsters: They want to know the price, how is the performance, quality, and difference between Jawa42 and RE 350

.Elders: They would wonder where this JAWA had come from. And then they would start comparing the old Jawa with New Jawa. Everybody would have their own story to tell about their old Jawa bikes. Might be theirs or their fathers.

Today morning when I was just reaching my office, one guy stopped me from his car. To look at my bike he himself came out of the car and walked towards me and the cheerfulness on his face to look at JAWA felt me proud.

Yes, I am proud of my JAWA and the legacy I am carrying. Thank you much for making this bike.

Disclaimer: Every company in the world release a new product, there might be some issues, even Boeing or ISRO would have. Jawa bikes too have few issues with the models, but the company is ready to help the customer as much as possible. But in some cases, people faced problems with dealers not helping out. You could always reach out to them:
